The starting point of this research

Opening an account does not mean entrusting financial life to a bank. The accounts distinguish familiarity, expected future credit, benefits actually used and coexistence of accounts. An offer can win registration and remain secondary. This is a relationship hypothesis, not a measure of Brazilian banking concentration.

An anthropological reading of selected public accounts, not a representative sample. Identities and purchases have not been authenticated. Independent editorial and English review remain pending.

Questions developed in the complete study

4 preserved selected accounts · 3 conditional proposals. This edition deepens the editorial analysis; it does not add consumer interviews or authenticate the accounts.

A decision to investigate

For Fintechs, banks and product teams choosing an entry task within a financial relationship.

Which task could earn repeat use before asking for the primary relationship?

Account opening and additional purchases do not prove a primary relationship. The corpus also includes positive continuation because everyday service works.

The complete edition adds an identified editorial decision brief, with contrasting outcomes and three conditional paths. It is not new fieldwork or an approved recommendation.
